If your case was filed after the date indicated on this webpage, your case is currently within processing times. We encourage you to check the page on a monthly basis.
If your case was filed before or on the date indicated on this webpage, then your case is outside of processing times. At this time, you can submit a case inquiry to find out why your case is outside of processing times.
Inquiry Option 1:
You can call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. You will need to provide your receipt number and other basic information about the case so that the representative can complete the inquiry for you. For your convenience, there are Spanish speaking Customer Service Representatives. Please note, only the petitioner or applicant can call to inquire about the case.
Inquiry Option 2:
You can visit the following webpage and complete an “Outside Normal Processing Time” case inquiry by visiting: https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayONPTForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=onpt
You will need to provide your receipt number and other basic information about the case.
Our office will gladly provide the above-mentioned services at an additional cost: $150/inquiry.
What To Do If You Have Inquired About Your Case More Than Three Times:
If your case is outside of processing times and you have completed at least three inquiries (by phone or through the USCIS webpage), we encourage you to make an Infopass appointment at your local USCIS field office. Please make sure to take evidence of such inquires and all other relevant case information to this appointment. You can make the appointment by calling Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283.
Our office will gladly accompany you to this appointment at an additional cost: $500/infopass appointment.
