On October 19, 2018, St. Thomas University Law hosted a roundtable on prospective immigration legislation and the impact on our community. This event was organized by AILA South Florida Congressional Committee and Michelle Canero.
The roundtable was mediated by Michael Vastine, Professor of Law and Director of the Immigration Clinic at St. Thomas Law.
The speakers were Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz; Senior counsel of Senator Bill Nelson; Senior staff of Rep. Fredericka Wilson; Senior staff of Rep. Alcee Hastings; Senior staff of Rep.
