Prior to her legal career, Kirsten developed a passion for immigrant justice and advocacy with the Migrant Worker Outreach Program in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  This passion led to her pursuit of a career in Immigration Law.  During her legal studies at the University of Miami School of Law, Kirsten served on the Miami Law Immigration Clinic, and was awarded the Public Interest Scholarship for her work with the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center.  Kirsten has been an Associate member of the Canero Law team since her graduation in May of 2016, and counsels clients on all Labor Certification-related matters.  Kirsten, a Detroit-native, is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
